Description

This former possession of the lordship of Rodemack and the abbey of Rettel was a place of pilgrimage to Saint Medard. It also offers a beautiful view of the Moselle valley. Archaeological excavations have revealed occupation in Neolithic and Roman times.
This village, which belonged two-thirds to Lorraine and one-third to Luxembourg, was once an independent medium-sized landed seigneury.
