PARAGLIDING TAKE-OFF SITE – CHEVRE-ROCHE
Description
For experienced paragliders with their own equipment, it is possible to take off from the very beautiful site of Chèvre-Roche. Overlooking the Moselotte valley, it offers a remarkable panorama of the Servance balloon, the Alsace balloon and, if you continue your observation towards the north, the route of the crests up to the Rainkopf and the Kastelberg.
Description and recommendations:
Altitude: 826 m. Orientation: S/SW. Site to be avoided in a westerly wind. Weather beacon: la Sotière.
Cliff-type take-off. Beware of the curtain of trees under the take-off.
Landing : Crémanvillers (alt. 420 m).
