Chaume du grand Ventron

Le Grand Ventron, Ventron's highest point at 1,204 meters, offers an exceptional panorama of the Vosges peaks. An orientation table is set up on site, enabling visitors to identify the main peaks, as well as the famous Route des Crêtes. On cold, clear days, it's even possible to catch a glimpse of the Swiss Alps, revealed above a sea of mist, offering a rare and breathtaking spectacle. Just 500 metres to the south lies Petit Ventron, culminating at 1,155 metres. These two majestic stubble fields lie at the heart of the Massif du Grand Ventron Nature Reserve, a protected area home to remarkable flora and fauna. A must for nature lovers and mountain hikers alike.
