On the border of the Landes, Armagnac and the Pays d'Albret, Poudenas is built on a hill in the Gélise valley. Start your walk on the old Romanesque bridge which offers a panoramic view of the village: admire the building of the former post office relay whose gallery on the first floor is supported by arcades, and the houses which are spread out on the hillside
Take the lanes of Poudenas to reach the Romanesque church with its square bell tower. Then visit (by appointment) the main building of the village, its castle, former residence of the lords of Poudenas. Finally, your steps will lead you to the park of the castle, which is rich in numerous species
Several roads and hiking trails allow you to discover other points of interest in the Pays d'Albret: admire 2 half-timbered dovecotes in the direction of Arbussan.
