From its roman foundation the St-John church conserved its choir, semi dome vaulted, and a nave, with wainscoting on the top, from the 12th century.
The roman chevet has increased heigh, containing modillions with geometric paterns and human faces sculpted, which allow to think the building was fortified.
During the second half of the 19th century, the sacristy and southern chapel were raised, and also the bell tower with its polygonal spire.
The whole church was built with cut stone and rubble stone.
