Formed during the last ice age, the lagoons were characteristic of the Landes landscape before the massive planting of pine trees
Today, these small bodies of water are rare and offer an ecological interest with their specific fauna and flora (carnivorous plants such as the drosera for example). The lagoons of Nabias, spaces between land and water, inspired a legend told on the site (descriptive panels)
Follow the interpretation trail (4.5km) and let yourself be guided step by step to discover the particularities of this now preserved wetland.
