Les Cascades de Murel
Description
Located 15 km north-west of Argentat, the Cascades de Murel are formed by 3 successive waterfalls in the steep, wooded Franche-Valeine gorges, which rush through a maze of rocks before returning to calm and serenity to join the Dordogne.
The waterfalls are accessible from a free parking lot (5-minute walk). Two footpaths also provide access. Information from the Dordogne Valley Tourist Information Office in Argentat.
