Les étangs de la Cazine

The ponds of La Cazine are made up of several bodies of water : the étang d'Argent, the Petite Cazine and the Grande Cazine. They represent varied and fragile ecosystems, whose species are dependent on the presence of water. Migratory or nesting birds, invertebrates, amphibians, shore plants and shrubs, arboreal rodents ... A management plan supervised by the conservatoire d'espaces naturels aims to make these ponds a biodiversity protection area.
