Parc du cours

This 28-hectare English-style park, with its alleys lined mainly with lime trees, is a real haven of peace in the heart of the city. Magnificent trees are planted here (cedars, Douglas fir, araucaria, purple beeches and chestnut trees). Some 25 baskets or flowerbeds are covered with summer beddings during the summer. You can also admire the bandstand from 1863 and the weather station from 1892.
The entrance to the Parc du Cours is on the Place Foch, near the Prefecture.
