Observatoire des oiseaux

On the banks of Schmalenthalerweiher, the fishing lake at Baerenthal, a wooden observatory has been set up to observe migrating birds in spring and in autumn.

There are mallards, kingfishers, hoopoes, herons and many others.

You can reach the observatory by the forestry road linking Baerenthal to Bannstein.
