Le Lavoir et la fontaine de Saint Roch

This semi-circular washhouse was fashioned from granite stone. Next to it is the Saint Roch fountain, topped by a chamfered granite cross. At the back of the fountain stands a statuette of Saint Roch in a small, closed niche. He was the village?s patron saint
Patron saint of the village.
On August 16, a procession was dedicated to him by the villagers. The faithful came here to invoke him in years of drought. They would pray and dip the feet of the Saint?s statue in the fountain
in the fountain and sprinkle the priest to make it rain.
