Guided tour of the cathedral and the episcopal treasure
Jewel of the fortified cathedral of Sainte-Marie de Rieux-Volvestre (14th - 17th century), the Episcopal Treasure is revealed, hidden in 14th-15th century classified cupboards, a magnificent setting for this exceptional collection of liturgical ornaments: chasubles, chapels, 17th century classified chalices, reliquary busts, processional crosses... .
Curiosity: the reliquary bust of Saint Cizi covered with 5 kilos of silver.
Visit in summer, from 11am to 12:30pm, 2€ per person.
