Au château de Mons (privé), continuer cette route à gauche. A la ferme de Fouilloux, monter le chemin à gauche. A l'intersection, monter à gauche. Au carrefour (vue sur les monts du Forez), tourner à droite ; le chemin descend dans un vallon ; couper une route avant Champciaux, monter en face vers Best. Sur le replat, prendre à droite, continuer tout droit, traverser Champciaux.
