Rémicourt Park

At the centre of the university district, Rémicourt Park offers all the beauty of an English-style garden, fashioned of natural shapes and volumes.
In complete contrast with the geometrical lines of a French-style garden, its 7.5 hectares encompass a multitude of different settings and inclines making it a particularly enjoyable place for a walk. Stroll from shaded undergrowth to wide grassy terraces, ideal for sports and games.

Rémicourt Park is home to numerous species of bird, such as the Greater Spotted Woodpecker with its striking black and white plumage, and some horticultural treats including an ancient Atlas Cedar, a Giant Sequoia and an American Sweetgum. Due to its location, various springs have been dug in Rémicourt Park in the past. Greater Nancy Council took advantage of roadworks in the area above the park to tap into the springs and feed two basins which it plans to use to develop the park’s biodiversity.
