BRASSERIE L'EXCELSIOR
Description
The Excelsior is one of the most famous examples of Art Nouveau in Nancy. The Art Deco extension and Jean Prouvé bannister combine very well with the décor of the main room which was inaugurated in 1911. Featuring chandeliers designed by Majorelle and Daum, furniture by Majorelle and stained glass by Gruber, this is a brasserie like no other.
The Excelsior was founded by Louis Moreau in order to create a luxury showcase for the beer of his brewery, the Brasserie de Vézelise.
