Basilique Saint-Epvre

The Basilica of Saint Epvre was built in the 19th century by Prosper Morey, Prix de Rome architect, in the neo-Gothic style. Work was carried out between 1864 and 1871 by a number of European workshops, including stained glass from Austria and Metz, woodwork from Bavaria and cast bells from Budapest. There are no fixed opening hours inside the building.

The parish insists that someone be present in the church when it is open (for security reasons), and this presence is maintained by volunteers, so times may vary.
