The NID, for Namur Intelligent and Sustainable, is a place of experimentation of the city of tomorrow. It questions the role of cities, and in particular Namur, in the face of global challenges. How to build a more intelligent and sustainable city? How can Namur, on its own scale, act to limit the climate crisis? For what reasons to ensure food autonomy to the population? What are the impacts of our mobility and how can we improve our modes of transport? How does the development of the Namur territory impact on social cohesion? How to be more resilient in order to face crises (health, climate,...)?Through animations, debates, conferences, exhibitions, ... all these questions and many others are exposed and discussed at the NID.The NID thus accompanies a revolution towards an intelligent and sustainable territory, that is to say, one that favors the ecological transition while being connected, intelligent, more respectful of the environment and involving its citizens.
