Saint-Martory, in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. The Garonne River crossing through this small village was essential in the last century for the development of this area which had several paper mills established. Today these factories are no longer operating and what remains is a pleasant and soothing village life. Admire the three-arched bridge with an Arc de Triomphe type gateway the Renaissance castle which is a classified monument, the Saint Roche Chapel not far from the school or the Monconfort Chapel (19th Century) located on the Mancioux road which was built by the survivors of a shipwreck on the Garonne River.
