Built in the 16th century, it owes its name to an ornament in the stone: a mermaid holding a comb in one hand and a mirror in the other. This Collongeoise house, a communal building classified by the Monuments Historiques, is the headquarters of the association Les Amis de Collonges founded in 1927. It has been converted into a museum with the following main points of interest: - in the basement: archaeology and local geology, - on the first floor: permanent exhibition "Chambre d'Apolline" (interior of a laundress in the 19th century) and temporary exhibition: "Collonges represented over time" (recent models, old photographs and video from the 1980s), - at the reception desk: information and documents published by the Association.
Open from Easter to All Saints' Day, the opening hours can vary and can be adapted according to demand, the number of visitors and the availability of the person in charge of the reception.
