Tour de Bridiers à La Souterraine

A tower for a show. Forgotten for a long time, the Bridiers medieval site has an imposing donjon, as well as the remains of the curtain-walls and castle dwellings. Don't miss out on climbing the spiral staircase up to the donjon rooms that lead out to the terrace: the view is worth the effort. Integrated into the décor of the gigantic sound and light fresco held each summer, the castle surroundings are also worth a visit, with the medieval garden, the adjoining woods and the affectionate troupe of Rove goats that maintain the site.
