Located 8km from Saint-Hubert towards Nassogne, this open-air museum includes 50 traditional local buildings re-erected on a 250-acre site, including a school, a chapel, thatched cottages, tobacco-drying sheds, a public wash-house, farmhouses, artisans’ houses and the following restaurants for visitors.Houses, farms, a school, a chapel... all rebuilt in the traditional way in a beautiful green park. This gives you an idea of how rural life in the Ardennes used to be. An exceptional 18th-century blast furnace bears witness to the old iron industry, built by the last priest of St Hubert, Dom Nicolas Spirlet. In the park you can relax and enjoy the recreational and culinary aspects. A playground and several restaurants are open in the domain. Do not hesitate to ask for more information about the entertainment and events that take place there during the year and especially in the summer months.
