As if it weren’t enough to have enjoyed her culinary delights at the indoor market for more than 25 years, we can now experience such pleasures every day of the year. After Lille, Elizabeth has finally opened a tea room in Le Touquet, where the warm, cosy and oh-so-British atmosphere beckons us to succumb to delicious temptation. No need to check the labels, it goes without saying here that the cheesecake, shortbread, trifle, scones and coffee walnut cake are all homemade. And there’s something to appeal to every taste, including a colourful array of the essential cupcakes! More into savoury? Every morning, Elizabeth and her team get to work on tickling your tastebuds, with savoury flans served with coleslaw or baked beans (the typically British haricot beans in tomato sauce). Have a good lunch! Great idea. Upstairs: invite your friends for teatime around a theme, for a special occasion, hen party, birthday or anniversary, or just to enjoy a moment of togetherness. We can satisfy all your requests. We can also host your children’s birthday parties (cakes and non-alcoholic drinks included). Hen party package: Two possible options! 1. Cupcake workshop: spend an hour decorating your own cupcakes, then unwind with a nice cup of tea before getting on with the party (price per person: 14 euros) (Saturdays) 2. Special hen-party lunch: on a specific theme if desired. Free glass of champagne to celebrate this unique event (price per person: 25 euros) (Sundays). Groups of 10 people or more can benefit from both options for the special price of 36 euros. The shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except during school holidays, when it opens daily from 9am to 7pm.
