This is the only bridge in town from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. It was rebuilt in 1947 and decorated with scenes and images of characters including the Scènes populaires liégeoises (Popular Liège scenes) portraying Tchantchès and his girlfriend Nanesse. On the river Meuse side, we can find a cycle route and a pedestrian pathway (RAVeL) which link the Ourthe valley with Maastricht (the Netherlands).
