Located along the Meuse river, this former abbey church founded by Irish monks in the 11th century is full of charm. One can admire its massive and imposing tower, its architecture stripped of artifices and its beautiful environment along the river. It is largely of Romanesque style by its tower, its nave with beautiful square pillars supporting the semicircular arches, its transept and its crypt. The choir is gothic (1264). Inside, one will notice the stalls and wall paintings, both very old, dating from the 13th century.
