Description

This collection of 1000 vehicles, 300 of which are on display, illustrates the history of the automobile from 1895 to the present. Thanks to the passion of Ghislain Mahy, this collection is impressive both for the number and the variety of periods, vehicle types and countries represented. Enthusiasts will admire antique and classic cars (a 1911 Delaunay-Belleville, a 1923 Austro-Daimler, a 1931 Lincoln Limousine, a 1960 Wartburg Cabriolet Hard Top etc.), famous cars from movies and comic strips (the 1934 Horsch from the film The Longest Day, the 1913 Rochet-Schneider Coupé de Ville from The Tiger Brigades), a sleigh, fire engines, steam locomotives, bicycles and motorcycles… Also discover hundreds of miniature cars and old toys, a special exhibition on bicycles and motorcycles, a didactic room and a mini circuit for children aged 2 to 7. The elevated walkway provides an excellent view of the huge storage area.
