Discover the arts and crafts of Le Pays des Collines as well as everyday life in the countryside as it used to be. On display are old implements, tools and agricultural machinery, and you can also discover the rural heritage of the village of Lahamaide by means of stories, temporary exhibitions, demonstrations in various buildings and guided tours. Don’t miss La Maison Louise, a perfectly preserved cottage from the 1950s located next to the main building. Visit us on the first Sunday of August to see “Lahamaide in harvest time” and experience the rural atmosphere from the 16th to the 20th century with farm labourers and craftsmen from that period. The Ecomuseum, provides a package for children aged from three to 12 which enables them to celebrate their birthdays and to time-travel at the same time! A Wednesday afternoon punctuated by fun, creative and inventive activities, by a break on a certain theme, finishing up – obviously – with the traditional cake and the giving of presents!
