After having worked in several high-class restaurants in Wallonie picarde, the young chef François Dufour and his partner opened their own restaurant: La Taverne du Boucher. The dishes created by this French cuisine lover are creative, original and of high aesthetic value. He only works with fresh seasonal ingredients. He is specialised in meat, especially matured (he works with Boucherie Devillers, artisanal quality). Situated in the shadow of the cathedral and within walking distance from the belfry and the Grand-Place, this restaurant offers an ideal setting for a gastronomic break in the historic centre of the city.
Open from Tuesday midday to Sunday, exept on Saturday. And in the
evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
