Guided tour of the medieval city "Special Groups"

Guided tour of the medieval city "Special Groups"
Guided tour of the medieval city "Special Groups"

Description

Let yourself be told the story of Chateau-Landon, jewel of the South Seine et Marne!
Perched on a rocky outcrop, overlooking the Charcoal Valley, the medieval city of Chateau-Landon will seduce you both by the charm of its exceptional site and by its monuments, witnesses of its rich historical past.

Its historical past has naturally left traces in the city. You just have to walk through the alleys of the medieval "castrum" to discover what this flourishing city could be: thick walls encircling the stronghold, reinforced with massive towers, one of which, the Madeleine Tower, has come down to us in relative good condition; posterns spanned by the rampart walk, alleys and stairs descending the vertiginous slope. It is a whole setting that the imagination asks only to revive.
