Description
If you're passionate about art and history, come and explore the home of Claude Monet and the Palace of Versailles. Your trip will begin with a visit to Giverny to retrace the steps of the illustrious painter, followed by an excursion to Versailles.
IF YOU'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT ART AND HISTORY, COME AND EXPLORE THE HOME OF CLAUDE MONET AND THE PALACE OF VERSAILLES. A MINIBUS WILL COLLECT YOU FROM YOUR HOTEL FOR THIS TRIP TO GIVERNY AND VERSAILLES, THEN DRIVE YOU BACK AGAIN AT THE END OF THE DAY.
Your trip will start at Giverny, where you will walk in the footsteps of the illustrious painter, before moving on to the Palace of Versailles, where you'll be transported back in time to the era of the great French monarchs.
The Giverny district is particularly famous as the location of Claude Monet's house, now officially recognized as a historic monument. Explore this legendary cultural site and visit its magnificent gardens. Once you've visited Monet's personal dwelling, you'll move on to see his studio and the Musée des Impressionnismes (Impressionism Museum) which documents the history of the wider artistic movement.
Lunch will be at the Moulin des Fourges restaurant.
You'll then set off for the Palace of Versailles where your guide will show you around the formal gardens before you visit the palace's royal apartments with an audio-guide.
Experience the sumptuous luxury of the king and queen's apartments as well as the magnificent Hall of Mirrors... and picture what life was like for the royals that once lived here.

Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
