Apparitions of the Holy Mary
Description
Beauraing is also famous for the apparitions of the Holy Mary that took place between 1932 and 1933. The Holy virgin repeatedly appeared to 5 schoolchildren from Beauraing. In 2013, the chapel was elevated to the rank of basilica. Museum of the Apparitions The museum boasts an impressive collection of Virgin Mary statues (Vierge au Coeur d’Or), paintings and other objects relating to the Beauraing apparitions.
