Parc Houbotte

Description

Garden of a convent, cemetery and place of memory, this place has known many lives. Nowadays the Wavrians who died during the Belgian revolution and the two world wars are commemorated here. The Donglebert bell next to it that was initially designed for Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church during the 17th century was the only bell to have escaped the German requisition in 1943.
