Gite Logis Escale

In the middle of the 19th century, the municipality of Trèves-Cunault acquired this beautiful complex to house the town hall and school. A century and a half later, the property was once again privately owned. Now listed as an extraordinary architectural heritage site and lovingly restored as a large gîte for 5-15 people, the Logis Escale is located in the centre of the Petite Cité de Caractère of Chênehutte-Trèves-Cunault, with a breathtaking view over the Loire. Just 15 km from Saumur, it's ideally placed for visiting, tasting and exploring the built and natural heritage of Anjou for a weekend or more, by car, bike or on foot.

This is a very comfortable gîte, classified as a 5* meublé de tourisme, with Marque Parc status.
The outdoor areas on different levels offer a pleasant place to spend every moment of the day: the sunny garden in the morning, the courtyard with its awning for meals, the semi-troglodyte swimming pool for hot moments and finally the roof terrace facing west for aperitifs.

Since 2022, the range has been extended to include a seminar room in the former school. There's everything you need to work efficiently before thinking about team-building activities or relaxing by the pool. Two former vaulted cellars with a surface area of 100 m² are also available for family meals and other events.
