Visiter Vayres

Vayres has been occupied since prehistoric times (Puybosse, Merlis), then during the Gallo-Roman period (Chalat) and the feudal period (motte de Merlis). The church of Saint Jean was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century, replacing the churches of Saint Georges and Saint Pierre.
Located in the Parc Naturel Périgord-Limousin, follow the many hiking trails to discover the village of Vayres in an original way! At the bend of a sunken path, thanks to the many viewpoints, the flora and fauna will no longer hold any secrets for you, as will the small heritage: clédier (la Treille), wash-house in the village, and the many good fountains (Bonnefont, chez Béjard)...
