This 19th-century shepherdess’s shelter is made of dry stone walling (which uses grey granite), with a fireplace on the ground floor and an apiary on the first floor to provide honey for family consumption. A number of different plant species have been recorded around this lodge and they are identified by plaques.
2 km from Bessines. Take "Suzanne Valadon" street, at the traffic lights go straight Laurière D203-Bersac then 1st right to "Puy Teigneux". After this village, stop on the left at the sign wood and take the path on foot 200 meters.
