Eglise Saint Sylvain - Bonnat

Church dedicated to Saint Sylvain, whose cult is linked to the protection of children. Its construction dates back to the end of the 13th century. During the 100 Years' War, it was fortified and occupied by men-at-arms in 1448 and 1449 to repel English assaults. Today, the battlements built for its defense are still visible.
Listed as a Monument Historique in 1924, it contains listed furniture:
An altar painting: "Remise du rosaire à Saint Dominique et un évêque" (Delivery of the rosary to Saint Dominic and a bishop) set in an imposing high altar: two tiers, a tabernacle with wings, and an architectural altarpiece.
Eighteenth-century statues of the Virgin and Child and an apostle.
