Eglise de la Nativité de la Très Sainte-Vierge

Description

Twelfth-century remains can be seen in the present-day southern chapel. The single 13th-century nave has 5 bays, ends in a polygonal apse and is flanked by 2 side chapels. The apse, with 5 sides and 4 buttresses, was added in 1495, with major work carried out in 1883, and is entirely covered with wall paintings. The north chapel and the 2nd bay of the south chapel date from the 16th century. The 1st bay, to the west, supports the chestnut shingled bell tower. The Limousin-style portal features 3 voussoirs and a pointed arch. The church has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1976.
