Le lavoir des Planchettes

The Planchettes washhouse is located in the town, behind the church. It is fed by the Planchettes stream, from which it takes its name. Rectangular, and made of 20 identical rectangular wash stones, it was in use until the 1950s. Each wash stone alternates with a horizontal stone where the women used to put the washing to rinse.
