Le Lonzac

Situated at the foot of the Monédières mountains in the Millevaches Regional Nature Park, Le Lonzac has an abundance of stunning landscapes and sites to discover or rediscover as the seasons change. You can admire superb panoramic views of the Monédières mountains, stroll along the old POC railroad track, forage for mushrooms in the forests and enjoy a meal in the village. Le Lonzac is also a place of remembrance. In memory of the 18 inhabitants killed by the SS in April 1944, the commune is recognized as a martyred village and honors the fallen on its memorial path.
