Description
Cet ancien gué comportait, à marée basse, un grand nombre de bancs de sable ainsi que le tracé de la voie romaine allant d'Alauna (Valognes) à Augustodurum (Bayeux), sur huit kilomètres. Lieu de passage de Guillaume Le Conquérant en 1047 en fuite. Aujourd'hui, magnifique point de vue sur toute la Baie des Veys.
