Collégiale Saint Etienne

The collegiate church of Saint Etienne is the result of numerous restoration campaigns. From the Romanesque period, the church's nave and west porch belfry are characteristic of Limousin Romanesque architecture. The first Gothic embellishments were made to the south facade in the 13th century. A Limousin Gothic portal with frieze of capitals spans its entire width. More exceptional, the rose is undoubtedly the first in the Limousin region to be built to a strict radiating definition.
