La fontaine du Bourg

The fountain and washhouse, located in the heart of the village, not far from the church, date from the modern era. The circular fountain is set into the retaining wall and covered by a granite slab. The coping is monolithic and hemicircular in shape. The wash-house, renovated around 1950, is square-shaped with three sloping sides. An old drinking trough, filled in 1956, was rebuilt in front of the washhouse thanks to indications from villagers. Restoration of the site has uncovered a pavement leading to the fountain.
