Chemin de Mémoire : Le Lonzac en Corrèze

In April 1944, two months before the Tulle massacres, eighteen inhabitants of Le Lonzac in Corrèze were shot by the Nazis. The village recognized as Martyr Village following the atrocities committed in the spring of 1944 by the Brehmer Division is now recognized as a “memory trail”, the fourth in the Corrèze department.
