Eglise de Saint Priest sous Aixe

A Romanesque church, rebuilt in the Gothic period and housing a 17th-century altarpiece, modified in the 19th century, this church retains the memory of its vicissitudes (armed troops burning the church in 1273, defense of Jeanne d'Albret's castle in 1492, and the plague epidemic of 1586). The church features a Romanesque granite font and a 17th-century Virgin and Child. The bell tower dates from 1904. The cross-vaulted choir is Romanesque, while the bays and chapels are Gothic.
