Forêt domaniale de Boulogne
Description
La forêt domaniale de Boulogne est un des principaux massifs forestiers du Pas-de-Calais avec plus de 2 000 hectares. Son caractère sauvage assure abris et refuges aux nombreux animaux : grenouilles, oiseaux, lièvres, chevreuils, sangliers... qui peuplent la forêt.
Aujourd'hui protégée, la forêt, fut dans l'histoire une réserve importante de bois utilisé pour la construction des installations portuaires de Boulogne.
