The exhibition is based on a collection of photographs and numerous everyday objects related to the trades of stone, earth and sea from antiquity to the present day.
Located on the port of Carro, the entrance is free.
Two villages that are one. La Couronne has the town hall and the church, Carro has the port. Their past activities were stone cutting, fishing, agriculture and sheep farming.
Old objects of daily life rub shoulders with those of fishing, natural treasures from the seabed and the cargoes of beached ships.
Its collection contains more than 150 objects and several hundred old photos and documents. It continues to grow thanks to donations and acquisitions.
The simple daily life of our ancestors, fishermen, peasants or shepherds.
It is this more or less distant past that we have tried to restore for you. Research has enabled us to find objects and documents that bear direct witness to the past and to the history of our villages, which are ultimately closely linked.
Individuals: free visit without reservation.
Surface area of the permanent exhibition: 50 square metres.
Free entry.
