Enfeu Saint-Merd-les-Oussines
Description
Enfeu from the chapel of the now-destroyed Château de Saint-Merd. It is the funerary monument of one of the former lords. The château belonged to the Order of Malta and was made a commandery in 1446. The tombstone features two large T-shaped figures, suggesting that it may have belonged to a knight of the Temple.
