Description

The Zarbula sundial is one of the most beautiful solar dials in the Clarée valley. Never restored, it presents itself as the dialer Giovanni Franseco Zarbula painted it in 1843.
This sundial is a good example of the Zarbula style. The trompe-l'oeil, the faux marble, the exotic birds are features elements of this Piedmontese dialer having made several solar dials in the Briançonnais.
