Parc de l'Amitié

Right in the heart of the city, the Park de l’Amitié is a haven of peace of some
1,500 m² with many Asian touches.
In the heart of the city center, this 1.5 hectare park revolves around a Japanese garden and many small thematic gardens: secret garden, scented garden, Renaissance garden and green theater. The twinnings with foreign cities allowed to integrate symbolic plantations of trees of origin of each country.

It is structured around a beautiful Japanese garden. It gives you a
chance to relax while soaking up the scents of all sorts of aromatic plants: sage, mint, thyme, absinth...During the spring the rose garden, in honour of Empress Josephine, provides spectacular colour together with the explosion of tulips and daffodils which brighten-up the park. Twinning with foreign cities has offered a pretext for symbolically planting trees from each of these countries.
