Situated 1km from the centre of Salies, this picnic area welcomes you to the Mosquéros leisure centre.
In a large shaded park, several picnic tables are at your disposal. Two car parks and several bins complete the services of this picnic area. The more active will enjoy the swimming pool located in the immediate vicinity, or the children's games, fronton, tennis, multisport field; the more quiet will appreciate the calm of the alley where you may come across a few bowlers in the middle of a game. A few hundred meters away, the salt works allows you to discover the exploitation of the salt of Salies-de-Béarn. You can also prefer the Bernatère walk (11kms) which starts from this area and leads you through the woods and along the stream to a small waterfall and then a clear view of the Pyrenees.
