Take a stroll through Roussy-le-Village and admire the contemporary style of the church of Saint Denis, built from concrete, cut stone and limestone. It dates from 1956 and contains an altar, six 17th-century statues, a crypt and 20th-century stained-glass windows. Outside, there is a contemporary sculpture of Christ in Majesty and a Tetramorph. Its 33-metre-high tower will make your head spin! Take the time to explore the small Garden of Remembrance behind the church where there are some surprising tombstones, including that of Louis Masson Salmchâteau, murdered in 1809.
